Patient reported outcome measures
Outcomes such as accurate reduction and alignment, good control x-rays and excellent range of motion are useful to the surgeon, but ultimately the person who lives with the condition provides the feedback on the end success.
Patient reported outcome measures are questionnaires that aim to document a patient’s perception of their own health.
We use the SEFAS score (Self-Reported Foot and Ankle Score) as it is a valid, reliable questionnaire used specifically to evaluate disorders of the foot and ankle. It allows for a reference point and holds us to a standard. It documents your progress along a timeline and lets us objectively monitor your progress relative to the norm.
Please click on the below link and complete this form prior to surgery. We will remind you when it needs repeating.
